Recommendations For Use
1. lt may be necessary to alter the running speeds from those shown in the speed chart in order to achieve optimum performance.
2. Harder materials require slower running speeds.
3. Smaller burrs require faster running speeds.
4. Long shank burrs require slower speeds for safety reasons.
5. Apply constant movement and light pressure when using the burr.
6. Running below the optimum speed will cause chipping.
7. Running above optimum speed will cause premature tooth wear.
8. Allowing the burr to become too hot may cause the braze to soften, and cause the head to become detached from the shank.
9. Using tools and collects which have become worn will encourage chipping.
10. Do not sink the burr for more than one third of its periphery.
